How to book
To make a booking, have a look through the villas for rent on the site. If there is a particular one that interests you simply fill out the booking form on the property page.
Alternatively, simply fill out the enquiry form below, or email us at enquiry@ricarent.com telling us what type of vacation rental you are looking for and we will get back to you with some suitable options.
Payment structure
Typically owners require 50% of the total rental amount to confirm the reservation, with the remaining 50% being paid on arrival, or within 2 weeks of the start of the rental period.
This may vary however as different owners have different policies, and RicaRent respects those individual policies. The specific arrangement for each villa is listed under the 'rates and rules' tab on the individual villa pages.
Refunds and Cancellations
The refund policies for each individual house are stated under the 'rates and rules' tab on the individual villa pages, and we will confirm these with you at the time of booking.
Generally we find that most owners are happy to give a 90%-100% refund if the cancellation is made in good time (e.g. over 2 months). Many will also have a policy of giving a partial refund provided that they manage to re-book the house for the same period.
Payment methods
At the moment the only accepted forms of payment are via wire-transfer to RicaRent's bank account in Costa Rica, or payment in cash upon arrival.
It may also be possible for you to pay by credit or debit card via Western Union.
