Paradise is yours at this breathtaking estate home overlooking the Pacific Ocean located in Mal Pais, Costa Rica. This 4 bedroom home is a unique custom design.
The incredible coastline views and warm, tropical breezes are highlighted by expansive glass sliding doors from every room. The front entrance double doors are handcrafted from local hardwood and open to the magnificent Great Room where you can't help but to notice the beautiful white polished concrete floor with wood inlays. The gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and adjacent oversized bar are perfect for entertaining, as they overlook the Great Room with a soaring wood beamed ceiling and practically wide open outdoor lanai.
The handcrafted wood dining table overlooks the ocean and comfortably seats 8 people. Custom wood furniture in every room complement the rich shelves and finishes, and provide a rich and "contemporary" tropical lifestyle.
Fantastic sunsets can be enjoyed while swimming in the one of a kind infinity pool. This beautiful home is perfect for families traveling together, reunions, surf trips or fishing trips.

Booking rules

- 50% of rental amount required to hold reservation
- Remaining 50% required 60 days before arrival
- $100 damage deposit to be paid with 2nd payment
Cancellations and refunds
- Cancellations over 60 days before arrival: 30% of total rental amount withheld
- Cancellations under 60 days before arrival: No refund unless house rebooked, in which case 30% of total rental amount withheld.

Malpais and Santa Teresa
Slightly off the beaten track is the restful, magical beach front village of Malpais, near the southeastern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Principally a surfing and travelling spot, Malpais and its neighbour Santa Teresa have in recent years also piqued the interest of the more discerning luxury traveller looking for more privacy and seclusion in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. Various celebrities have been known to rent villas in the Malpais area, including model Giselle Bundchen who has recently built a house in the area.
The influx of foregin tourists has given the area a delightful mix of tourist amenities, whilst still retaining its natural feel. The beaches are uncluttered by chairs and umbrellas and the roads are unpaved, but there is a wide selection of international restaurants and activities available.
As always, the surf and beaches in this area are fantastic, with a long stretch of white sand beaches providing good swells and variety for surfers, and large rock-pools (often filled with tropical fish) providing a more tranquil experience for those not on boards.
There are a host of villa rental options in the area, both for surfing groups on more of a budget as well as those looking for high-end luxury. The villa owners in the area tend to be of a discerning taste, which has lead to some breathtaking and unique-design vacation rentals in the area, with the focus being on indoor-outdoor living.
